Hello (again)

I’m a collage illustrator and image-maker based in North East England. I take images apart

and put them back together.

My work combines digital and traditional media, layering textures and mark-making. I make work about places, nature and sports.

I studied illustration at Norwich School of Art and Design and am an alumni of The Good Ship Illustration.

I write Resources for Illustrators on Substack. It's a newsletter for illustrators, students, lecturers, and anyone interested in the world of illustration. Resources are published and updated monthly. Sign up for curated information about illustration and the creative industry.

When I’m not making, I unknowingly collect tickets, play tennis, and get lost among trees in the Lake District.

Rewind

Naturally curious, I discovered my dyslexia while attending art school, which sparked a journey to understand how I learn and process information. I pursued an MSc in Psychology and a Level 5 Certificate in Dyslexia. For over 10 years, I worked in primary and secondary schools, helping to identify, support, and empower neurodiverse students, emphasising the value of dyslexic thinking—approaching problems differently and creatively.

As a neurodivergent individual, I draw inspiration from the experiences shared by others. I am eager to work with companies and organisations that promote inclusivity and advocate for neurodiversity.
