Hello (again)

I’m an illustrator and image-maker based in North East England. I take images apart

and put them back together.

I became enamoured with collage illustration at Norwich School of Art and Design; my unknown ticket collection and memorabilia continue to appear in my illustrations.

I write Resources for Illustrators on Substack. It’s a newsletter for illustrators, students, lecturers, and anyone interested in the world of illustration. Resources are continuously updated and consist of curated information about illustration and the creative industry.

When I’m not illustrating, I play tennis out at the coast and spend much time getting lost amongst trees in the Lake District.

Rewind

I found out I had dyslexia while I was at art school. My curiosity was piqued. I dove into understanding the dyslexic brain by studying for an MSc in Psychology and earning a Level 5 Certificate in Dyslexia. For over ten years, I've helped to spot, support, and empower dyslexic students and Dyslexic Thinking (thinking differently and creatively). I taught students to find what they're good at and do lots of it: focus on their dyslexic strengths.
